Small Business Spotlight

One of the things I love most about running a small business is discovering other small businesses.

I know first-hand just how much work goes on behind the scenes. Every order, photo, product idea, late-night packing session and slightly-too-long trip to the Post Office usually has a real person behind it. So I thought it would be nice to use a little corner of the Piglet&Chestnut blog to share some of the independent businesses I genuinely shop from and love.

This isn’t about paid recommendations or filling a post with businesses I’ve never actually bought from. I want these to be proper little shoutouts for businesses I’ve discovered myself, products I’ve spent my own money on and things I’d happily recommend.

So, first up...

Cheshire Crafted

Cheshire Crafted is run by Claire and is full of handmade home décor and gifts, with lots of her designs created using wire and knitted wire.

What I particularly love is that there are so many personalised pieces too. It’s the sort of shop where you can find something a little bit different rather than something you’re going to see everywhere else

Anyone who knows me, knows I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with pumpkins, so I knew I had to show these ones off!

I recently purchased a piece of wire art work for Felix's nursery from Claire, and I am absolutely thrilled with it - look how perfectly it fits in to his room <3
